I can confirm that. Your system kept polling here so it took me a little while to figure out there was a problem as I saw incoming traffic.
About the "let his dyndns account expire" ... I was using their "mine.nu" domain and on a specific date they changed it into a paying domain and never notified me. Five minutes later it was gone...
