You are entitled to your believes.
And indeed it is dangerous to look at a spot where huge amount of light can hit your eye, especially if intensified by optical equipment. That is why I did not do that. I looked at a point in time where it was completely safe! I can understand that you feel unsafe by doing that, but this does not make it especially risky if you know what you are doing.
