No, it is not the Golded configuration that matters. It is the font. It is not possible to change the font in a terminal depending on CHRS kludge in a message shown by Golded in this terminal. And all places with accented and umlauted charaters are occupied with Cyrillic letters in a Cyrillic font.

I have all translation tables but it does not help at all.
