A routing table does not replace a nodelist. The nodelist is still the only official method. You can get info from it, and format it to work with whatever mailer you have, such as binkd.txt for binkd. The information however, still comes from the official nodelist. If a node is not contactable, by any means in the nodelist, then it should either be marked as down, or pvt.
