Hopefully they learned from this discussion that they are (were) in conflict with the current document being discussed.

The issue is/was with FTS-5003. It appears that so-called developers are in error with this particular document. If this is not the proper forum to discuss issues with standards and their documentation using real world software to point out flaws, then obviously this particular forum is of no consequence whatsoever.
