Understood. That was my motivation as well. Also with this latest batch of postings I wanted to check a certain site's Apache iconv module which was really my prime motivation this time. It works like a charm for the three different CHRS kludges deployed - CP866, CP437 and of course UTF-8. Truly a work of art.
