Golded only displayed half of the characters in that one. The other half were mangled, but as soon as I shelled to nano to reply, everything is there as it should be. :)
Maybe we should just develop an arealister and message reader (something that basically just separates the messages and displays them like they should be read) that can be tacked onto nano and/or vi?
If you're up for a challenge like that, I would definitely be game to give it a whirl, but I'll probably shy away from manually breaking apart raw message packets all the time. Especially with like 200+ message echos I have here.
I guess as long as it displays correctly here in nano, I can live with it. Golded will just be the front end to keep my message areas ordered in a manageable fashion, with a quick way of reading messages and getting through them in a reasonable time. If I want to see a correctly displayed message that is garbled up by Golded, I can simply reply to it with nano. :)
Regards, Nick
