It would at least be nice if some of the most popular editors of today's FTN age could display the characters properly. The fact that noone wants to do anything about it kind of baffles me, though.

I agree that this is the best way I can do it currently. As long as I know my messages are leaving here the way they should, I suppose it doesn't matter what the software says, especially if noone wants to fix it.
