Can is be said that most current operating systems should be able to view these properly? Whereas since FTN systems are a mixed breed of software going back 20+ years, there will never be a happy medium, unless all current operating systems' users revert back to old technology - which most likely won't happen.
We'll all just have to learn to live in harmony. If someone doesn't like the fact that someone else's messages don't come through the way they should, they may be inclined to use something a little more current. Then again, probably not. I, for one, am going to continue moving forward, and not shelter myself by living in the past.
