The only thing I can think of is that I was messing around with JamNNTPd the last couple days once again. It's possible it mangled some of my JAM areas.
Now that it's deleted, everything should be back to normal. I hope. :)
I didn't touch my current setup, I only added that old broken NNTP server that doesn't even support the MODE READER setting that most clients push to the server nowadays. Luckily for people that use it, though, Thunderbird still works with it even though the headers are usually broken. :(
