I suppose I can agree with you there. Although most currently updated BBS softwares now come with their own telnet server. And my original point (that Andrew verified) that you can put the mailer's telnet server on a different port, still stands. :)

That's what happens when software developement stops. It tends to get passed up by other things that are currently maintained, etc.
The code for Radius is still available, isn't it? If only someone would pick up the reigns and change that mailers functionality WRT that flag. If not, like other things, it will eventually be left in the dust for newer technology. *shrug*
