I am a former RC (R11). I also am a backup nodelist clerk for Zone 1 if for some reason Nick's system can't handle it because all the ZC position really is for is an overglorified nodelist clerk.

Alexey, like others in here, dislike me because I am not like them. That's all it is and ever will be. They just need to get over it because, God willing and the creek don't rise, I plan on being around for a while yet.
As for my qualifications for the FTSC with having run my own FTN network for 22 years, being involved with Fidonet for nearly 30 years, and having been on the FTSC several times already, I know the ins and outs of FTN technology enough to be in a group whose sole purpose is to document the use of that technology. It's not the FTSC's job to come up with this new tech but document its use. One's programming skills are not needed though a good understanding of the technical complexities of FTN are to understand what the group's true functionality is.
