Sir, we are in agreement here.
However, as it has been explained to me, abstentions have exactly *zero* impact in these proceedings. Therefore, a voter might as well have stayed home, rather than abstaining.
Again, what is the point of including 'abstain' as an option, if those votes are just being discarded?
