Um, wouldn't a vote for your opponent automatically be a vote against you, or
a 'no'? Just sayin...

It is basically the same for our Prime Minister. However, I wasn't speaking
specifically about elections, but voting in a broader sense. It is not an
activity restricted only to an election. For example, NATO members voting on
creating no-fly zones.

Unfortunately, the FTSC election has already stepped out of the realm of the
presidential election you're familiar with/referring to. There are three
candidates, and any combination of the three could be voted in. This would be
more akin to voting in members of a city council, wouldn't it? And in that
case, it is indeed a majority decision, at least in the small part of the
world I call home.
