I run a BBS that has users who regularly get mail from me, and have done so for more than a decade. For fifteen years, I was one of the moderators of the most popular echo in fido which has had posters from six continents. I wrote a program that allowed one of the popular offline readers survive its Y2K problem. I have tracked down multiple breaks in echomail distribution.
I know that the fact that I cannot allow free access to my computers bothers the heck out of you -- but that is the way it is. Live with it and stop moaning about it.
