A. Select someone to tally the votes who is honest, and who is independent of the election.
B. Let the voters submit their votes with a password. Then they can confirm that their vote was correctly counted.
C. Don't publish running totals of the votes until the election is closed. It is ok to ACK people who voted using the passwords, but the total should not be disclosed until voting is over.
