I have most online in the ftsc file area, with descript.ion instead of files.bbs. Every line ends with a CR/LF and the number of downloads (@d??).
files.bbs usually wraps the lines after the filename after 60 chars, and adds a + sign at the start of the newline. You could pull descript.ion into an editor and modify it:
