It's difficult to count YAY and NAY votes? I don't think so.
Michiel chooses making it difficult on himself in debating whether to count all the votes as presented to him, that's all. Your node number was on the ballot and that node number represents your entity to all in Fidonet who use our "addressbook" to find sysops. You can't go by the name, since even Michiel didn't use the spelling of your name you yourself use for that particular node number as Uli and others have pointed out.
