Historically, this is not true. Of course only ONE vote may be counted, but it's the last vote posted that is the one that is counted.
It's been like this in FTSC elections since I joined Fidonet.
I'm sure there will be others here who know this.
No one is asking you to count votes "twice", but you are being asked to modify the vote of the RC until the voting period ends, as it's always been done.
