sorry but he didn't ask if he could... he cast another ballot and asked that it be accepted... Michiel stated that there was no provision for such and that he leaned toward allowing it... after a few messages were posted in the negative, bjФrn retracted his subsequent vote...
there has still been no discussion of the rules and this scenario still has not been handled... the rules state one vote yes, no or abstain per ballot but nothing concerning multiple ballots...

The rules are laid down in FTA-1000. I do not have the mandate to change that all by my self.
but the actual document would be FTA-1001 which also doesn't lay down anything specific for the actual voting process other than a majority (defined as more than 50%) approval for each candidate...
the current methodology has been used since at least 2008 and even at that time, there was no discussion or formalizing of the actual voting process...
