Nope. The USSC in Bush v. Gore held that the Florida Supreme Court's method for recounting ballots was a violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. That was a 'per curiam' descision by the court. Not the end of the story by any means, but it was the end of the Bush v Gore 2000 election process. FYI, the margin seperating Bush over Gore was 537 votes. Had Gore won his own state, he would have beaten Bush, hands down.
