Most people do not use news readers. Not even one of my aquaintances, even know what a news reader. I use an email client to read email, and email only. The latest version of Eudora OSE. That is not the old Eudora unfortunately, as Qualcomm stopped developing it, and handed it over to the Mozilla project It now uses the Thunderbird engine, and the Eudora GUI. Not a good fit.

I dont use a DOS based editor here, although I could. This particular editor is Java Script based.

You may complain about the US focussed FTN Desing, but that is where Fido was developed, and at that time there was no thought of going International, thus no neeed for any of that 'modern' stuff <G>
