I would like to suggest a proper method for abstaining. By removing the names of the candidates one likes to abstain from the election coordinator can't be sure if it's done intentionally to signal an abstaining vote or if it's caused by another mail editor glitch. We've seen far too much of those lately. IMHO the best practice would be to reject all incomplete ballot papers because it might be a sign of mail editor problems or of using the wrong template. Anything else would be unfair towards the candidates. Don't you agree?
