Forgot to add I have somewhere an updated? version of gatekeeper that I had changed and used when I ran Adept.
With the demise - OK IBM discontinuing OS/2 and refusing to make the source available to the community I switched to Linux.
The progress of OS/2 since then from both sides of the pond has not changed other than changes to drivers and most of that was via the OS/2 community so I refused to remotely consider paying silly money for a subscription for the so-called newer versions.
I and a few others offered to IBM to extract the Windows code base from Warp 4.52 and update it for modern CPUs including 32 and 64 bit operations but they ignored us.
My attitude after such response was to migrate away from it - pity it was a good system but just has not kept up with newer technology so my decision to more away has proven valid.
Luckily my mainframe on a stick work does NOT require the use of OS/2 and Linux works well as does a Windows platform when pushed.
