Right.

No not at all. And I'll show you why, read on.

Did you notice there is no MO (=Mail Only) flag in his line? That means there is a BBS too! A NodeNumber with a BBS means BBS-users with are adressed to as Point 0 (=Zero), ALL of them! And of course there are many (un)registered BBS-users. 2:203/2.0 could be any one of that BBS-users (SysOp included). So a NodeNumber alone does not specify a certain person, and therefor can not be a valid indicator for a FTSC candidate! Simple he?
As I am running UniCorn BBS with Users and Points for many decades, I know what I am talking about. Here are many Point 0 (=Zero) BBSusers too. Note, they can also write and receive NetMail or EchoMail.
One votes only for or against a candidated human being (FidoNet participant) as a FTSC member, and not a nodelisted SysOp, Point or (un-)registerd BBS-user by only a number, or a false name.
RC> Your claim is as lame as the character set translation thing.
My Point Zero proof shows your RC18 p.o.v. is hereby not valid for a complaint.
IMHO the votes against "Bjerk" are invalid and should still be. This is not political, but pure technical. If Bob Seaborn realy wanted to vote against a candidate, he had to use his normal right (and full) name, as specified by the E.C. The only one accent letter does not matter, we all understand that. It is the use of a false name that (not) counts. The now created result is their voting RC's fault and not from any one else.
Henri.
