Hello Maurice!

07 Jan 14 21:25, you wrote to me:

Odin Sorensen started Golded somewhere before June 1990. He left Fidonet
bij the end of 1999. In 1998 het published the source code and attached
 an opensource license.

Your name first appears in a Nodelist 1997-1-24

I started using Golded, when I finally bought a laptop.

That fully agree. The verdict should come from the current maintainer.

At the moment I do not really care about the correctness of time
presentation in Fido messages. It is as broken as windows

I only care that my unix boxes have the correct time.
