Just so you and everybody else understand(s) ... the full text published by Scott is not just a Scott-thing, but a ZCC-thing upon which the ZCC-members agreed...
What follows is a personal observation.
Without pointing any fingers, this election which merely should be the appointment of a technical documentation team, was turned into a farce by individuals on both sides of the fence.
In a world which depends on volunteers, they are a valuable commodity which becomes more and more scarce.
I also cannot believe that someone would be willing to cast a negative vote against a person like Dallas Hinton, he has done absolutely nothing at all ever to upset anyone and possesses decades of accumulated skill.
I can see that someone would cast a vote against you or Michiel on political grounds or personal dislike, but in a technical-only environment that is hogwash too.
Hopefully I've offended no-one now.
If it were up to me, I'd move to drop this whole election, consider every volunteer appointed and request the FTSC to revise the current election rules to have no repeat of this circus.
