But these electoral votes are cast in public as they are a function of the state. And not voting as pledged may be punishable by state pledge laws.
The constitutionality of state pledge laws was confirmed by the Supreme Court.

You are not an RC. You don't even get to vote in the ongoing FTSC-election at all.
