I have some knowledge on cryptography and even its' history. Neither linear transformation is safe, and that was proved for all ancient ciphers, starting from Julius Caesar's substitution cipher and its' later successors like Vigenere cipher and other polyalphabetic ciphers.

My own node carries this flag.

GPG uses modern encryption algorithms like Twofish. OpenSSL too, together with unbeatable-for-over-25-years GOST 28147-89.
