I'm kind of new to the IPv6 world, I had no way of knowing at the time it was LAN. I'm in very much the same situation and haven't fooled around with it much because I think my ISP will have to change my RG (Regional Gateway) for me to have 2-way IPv6. When that happens, the tech won't know the first thing about me having a static address and everything will change with their server, while my address here will remain the same. It happens every time they change the RG and when that happens, then no one will be able to contact me. Currently, my router doesn't show the block of addresses I have assigned to me with the exception of the static address. All the other addresses are not within my assigned block, but they work anyway. Amusing, but confusing.
