Exactly! As I've said, this port issue is what's really confusing me, it doesn't make any sense.
Why couldn't the IPv6 people make the IPv6 address end with the last bits 48-17 corresponding to existing IPv4 and the last 16 bits being the port number? How easy it would have been to have a seamless transformation.
