It doesn't matter if you or your ISP got sufficient IPv4 address space, because someone else might not. If some fancy new service, like a new amazon or what have you, only got IPv6 addresses, you won't be able to use it with an IPv4-only internet access. Of course you can use some IPv6 tunnel service, but that's just a transition technology which will vanish some day. Anybody using the internet is forced to run native IPv6 sooner or later.
We got a cable provider without suffcient IPv4 address space and that provider is migrating all customers to native IPv6 while IPv4 connectivity is done by CGNAT. A fidonet node wouldn't be reachable by IPv4 anymore, but by IPv6.
