Me too. I've asked two or three times and canceled the contract this year. The server was shut down a few days ago. The replacement at another hoster is faster, got more RAM and disk space and is a few bucks less :)

... if you live long enough to see that happen. The big telcos/cariers are clinging on their copper pairs or coax cables like drug addicts on meth. And the wireless world hops on to claim more frequency spectrum and to prepare the transition from voice to data. If you follow the news about Comcast, AT&T and the others in the US, you know how they are fighting against FTTH and municipal fiber projects. It's the same here, but not so drastic, and we also got much more competitive prices. Fortunately there are some sunny fiber islands.
