The fun will start when there's www.next-big-hype.com running IPv6 only because of the lack of IPv4. But there are benefits already. If you run servers you see tons of scanning and brute force attacks, e.g. ssh. I haven't seen any considerable scanning for IPv6 yet.
At the moment we still have the chance of a smooth transition, but as longer we wait and postpone as more rough it will become.
