I also have a dynamic address from Ziggo. But it hasn't changed in years. It only changes when I change the MAC address of the router. And even then I ge back the old address when I change the MAC to the old value again. I suspect there is a time limit to that, bu I have never checked. For all intents and purposes, I have a static IPv4 address.

It is a problem that everyone changing ISPs should be aware of these days. Especially those in Australasia (APNIC, depleted 19 Apr 2011) and Europe (RIPE, depleted 14 Sep 2012).
