"Cross" is the wrong word. And I can not deny I saw it coming. I had hoped though that existing customers could keep their IPv4 address for some time, at least till the conversion to an IPv6 internet was almost ready.

And I can still make outgoing connections on IPv4. But it does severely restrict my Fiodonet connectivity as long as the majority of Fidonet nodes has not yet converted to IPv6.

Not so. When I left HccNet (dsl) in favour of Casema, I specifically asked if running servers was allowed and the answer was yes. I know that some ISPs have a ban against running servers in the contract, but that is not the case here.
I can always change providers. Xs4all hands out dual stack connections.
