If my router has a similar way of delegating other subnets to downlink routers, I am not likely to find any information about it any time soon. It is a beta firmware of an ISP custom firmware. There won'' t be any public information flying around...

I could think of the following being useful in a household:
1) The general purpose LAN.
2) Guest network
3) IOT.
4) Smart car #1
5) Smart car #2
That's all I can think of right now. I am sure more will pop up.
