Hi Ben!

01 May 2017 14:16, from Ben Ritchey -> All:

There is something wrong here ...
First why do you cascade the routers??
That is usually a very bad idea.
Just disable the routing function and use it as a switch with a built in WLAN bridge!

EVERY IPv6 capable Host has at least one fe80:: address.
Even if it is not connected to the Internet!

If the router on the Internet side does NOT have an IPv6 address where does your IPv6 connectivity comes from??

BR> ipv6 Internet address for both routers shows blank :(

Bad ... are you sure you have IPv6??

BR> 192.168.1.1 Win 7 ipconfig ipv6:
BR> 2001:0000:9d38:6ab8:0c21:0e17:b3b7:fcbc

Where is the IPv6 address coming from when your router does not have any??
Maybe M$ Win uses one of those brain damaged protocols like Teredo?

Can you ping ipv6.google.com from the win7 box.
Are you sure that your provider provides IPv6?

Maybe the others have a better clue what is going on ... i am baffled.

CU, Ricsi
