It is with a heavy heart that I am tasked to inform you of the passing of Anita Felten, wife of our colleague-sysop, RC20 and Fidonews-editor Bjorn Felten, early this morning.
Anita Felten had suffered severe lung-failure in December and had been admitted to Karolinska hospital in Stockholm where she was surrounded by the best medical care possible.
Docters aren't gods, not even the Norse gods, and the odds were not in her favour.
Even at such a time, Bjorn asked me to bear with him and deal with a delayed edition of Fidonews. I'm certain he'll post a note when he's ready for it.
