I remember when some ISP offered a ISDN flatrate subscription in Sweden. You could only run one ISDN channel but you could basically keep it on 24/7 and even run a server at home which was fun at the time (1998 or whenever it was).
They only lasted for a year or two as I recall since their customers, of course, abused the hell out of this service.
