What makes the web so valuable, that global companies are willing to spend milliards of Euro on it?
It sure as hell is not what the media companies are offering. It's what millions of Jane and John Doe are offering, mostly from their tiny, local servers.
But that's not what the ISPs want, because they can't make a profit from what Jane and John Doe is trying to offer for free, so they try to prevent Jane and John from offering their services for free.
By the way, did you know that FRY -- GANGNAM STYLE now is passing 2.5 milliard (billion to you I guess) shows on Youtube? What if he had just a cent for every show...?
