What's even more interesting is what we will see the next few months.
... the US dollar had a firm grip on the international currency market in April 2016. That was before the Trump started his economical trade war against the rest of the world.
What we have to remember is, that the US has no real central bank with monopoly to issue currency, but rather a Federal Bank, own by half a dozen private bankers, who can print as much dollars as they see fit, without any way for the government to control it.
So after the Trump entered the arena, long after April 2016, it will be really interesting to see especially what will happen to the USD relationship to the CNY. And the GPD is kinda like trapped in between.
To those of us really interested in the world wide currency casino, we have really interesting times ahead. In the meantime we have gold that is totally non-currency related...
