Well, I'm six times a grandfather. My eldest grandson, aged 24, is living with his partner but there's no talk yet of a great-grandson. Pity, because there are so many years between the generations in my family (my father was born in 1898, grandfather was born in 1856, great-grandfather in 1818!) that I knew only one of my grandparents, my paternal grandmother, who died at the age of 90 when I was only 6. So it's important to me to see as many generations following me as I can.
