Yes, they and a few more, are currently causing the collapse of the Baltic Sea cod too A very unique cod that has genetically been evolved into a brackish water fish.
The EU fishing fleet is cleaning out the Baltic, capturing cod as young as a couple of months (200-300 grams) -- long before their first opportunity to reproduce. A full grown Baltic Sea cod weights in at about 10kg and above...
And Sweden can do absolutely nothing about it, the EU, in the hands of the powerful fishing industry lobby, decides.
Anyone wondering why I still believe that Sweden should have stayed out of the corrupt EU from starters (I of course voted no in 1995).
