You'll have to forgive me. I closed my BBS and Fido system down twelve years ago. Next month I shall be eighty years old. My memory isn't what it was and I can't remember exactly why I can't (or couldn't) run GoldEd any more. It isn't installed on this computer (I thought it was but I can't find it anywhere, either on this 64-bit OS nor on another machine with a 32-bit OS, both Win10) and I think the reason is that I simply couldn't get it to work, but maybe it was because I needed an updated version. I just don't know any more. Certainly as far as Irex is concerned it doesn't display properly on Windows 10 and my command mode utilities for converting packets from Fidonet to Internet no longer work. But frankly I don't have the time to spend in sorting it all out now. I'm still here by kind invitation of Ward and I like to read what's going on although I don't often write.
