I can't even remember when last I paid in cash in any supermarket. It must be at least 30 years ago.
And nowadays, when on-line shopping with home delivery is available even for food (for about 80% of the Swedish households including mine) I don't even have my credit card available.
In Sweden we use something called Bank-ID to validate payments. It's an app that's automatically invoked at checkout, and all you have to do is enter a six digit "secret" number of your choice and your payment is finalized. Your food is delivered at your doorstep the next day...
