BF> Well, I'm more of a British beer type of person. The darker the BF> better. Guinness Extra Stout and thereabout.
Er, Guinness isn't British, it's Irish! ;-)
At least, it was founded in Dublin, but moved its headquarters to London in 1932 as a result of Anglo-Irish trade wars, but the Guinness brewery in Park Royal, London, closed in 2005 and the production of all Guinness sold in the UK and Ireland was moved back to Dublin at St. James's Gate Brewery.
Irish in origin and still Irish in production. Look for the harp.
