all i want fidonet sysops to understand is that its bad design in nodelists to allow single stack ips direct in nodelists, the webinterface is bad aswell on that account, in the old days fidonet nodes could not have multiple phone numbers on a single fidonet node number, so bbs and nodes need another nodenumber to solve multiple phone numbers, same apply to internet dns names today
