Nope, why should I? Newton made great advances in optics (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton#Optics), specifically on the nature of light and colour. A big dispute was between his theory that claimed light to consist of particles, and the theory by Dutchman Huygens who saw light as waves.
