Hello Michiel!

Yes, I was also quite amazed when I learned that other countries have significantly lower numbers in IC capabilities. Especially when considering that German healthcare has been under severe budget cuts for at least two decades.

Right now we have plenty of "spare" IC beds, I think. However, they're all still very afraid we might need them soon.

We have a team researching in one of the first big cluster areas we had, with already quite some interesting first results coming back.

MvdV> Restaurants and barber shops are closed. All events are cancelled.

No barbers for 1 year or more? Does that sound feasible to you?

MvdV> But contrary to you guys, we may go out in the open to do shopping

Sorry? I can go out any time and do pretty much whatever I like as long as the 1.5m distance is kept. Most shops, restaurants and so on are closed, though. But as I live in a village that had none of these to close down, there is not much of a difference. :)
My kids and my wife are at home, but meanwhile that's also as planned as the official school holidays are on. One of the interesting questions for us will be if school will start again after Easter holidays, or if they all will have to stay home.

MvdV> I am a bit more optimistic. Just a gut feeling too, but I have

Well, wait and see...

Gerrit
